HISBAH Police are all over the north enforcing what's called sharia laws. It's convenient for the Fulani north to have two sets of constitution – Sharia law and the federal law. And as has been evident, sharia law is supreme. In fact a graduate of sharia law is superior to any other.
At the top of Nigerian legal system is a sharia judge. He failed mathematics and English language. He even failed Arabic studies. Doesn't matter. It's convenient for the north to have whatever they please. Not so with south of the country. While Sharia police have been created there, south states are not allowed to have state police. We don't also have own legal codes. The west just took it by force. They created own police, Amotekun. The north is fuming, Miyetti Allah – the umbrella body of Fulani herdsmen – are threatening, Ohaneze is on the sidelines.
Igbo political elites are scared of saying or doing anything that will upset their Fulani masters. Whenever they say anything, it will be in coded language and difficult to decipher. If you attack them for saying "nay" they quickly claim they meant "yea". Otherwise what's the rationale behind Dave Umahi's assertion that he is fully PDP member and 100% APC. How does one rate such a charlatan? Unsuspecting citizens will view it as a political masterstroke. Can a Republican governor in the USA claim to also be 100 Democrat? Serious?
Hisbah is good. Everything to try and resist Fulani adventurism southwards is evil and must be proscribed. Yet Chris Ngige said Igbos are not marginalized. Are we?

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has raised posers for the Federal Government over its insistence that Amotekun is illegal.
According to him, it is important that the governors of the south west region protect the people and their lands, irrespective of what the federal government feels.
The Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami had on Tuesday announced that Amotekun was illegal.
Amotekun is a local security outfit which South-West governors recently inaugurated to protect the region from attacks and killings by suspected criminal herdsmen, kidnappers and other criminal elements.
Following the Federal Government announcement declaring Amotekun illegal, Fani-Kayode demanded answers from the AGF and the Federal Government on these questions:
What makes Amotekun illegal & Hisbah legal? What makes civilian JTF legal in north east? What makes civilian JTF legal in Zamfara, Katsina & Kano?”
